When leaders and their peers meet regularly to explore their leadership, they build connections, reduce burnout, and become better equipped to navigate challenges.
Peer Forum brings together groups of leaders who are at the same level in an organization to learn and practice coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills, and receive support, assistance, and coaching from their peers. In peer coaching sessions, the leaders explore questions, challenges, and opportunities they are facing in their roles. In addition to having an opportunity to talk through what is on their mind, each participant receives support, encouragement, and help thinking through issues from their peers.
Highly interactive
In peer coaching sessions, the participants do 95% of the talking, sharing their challenges, opportunities, successes, and failures with one another and then benefiting from the active listening, helpful questions, deep care, active support, and coaching from their colleagues.
Effective with 20 leaders or 200 leaders
A Boda Peer Forum builds skills, fosters discussion, and strengthens relationships among colleagues across the organization.
A typical Peer Forum spans six months, with each group of 4-5 leaders meeting monthly for 90 minutes. A Boda coach structures each agenda and facilitates each session, tailored to the needs of each particular group.
Massive impact
It’s a simple design that consistently generates massive impact. By the end of the program, participants typically report feeling supported, connected to colleagues, less stressed and burned out, and better able to navigate the many challenges they are facing. Every time we lead a Peer Forum we hear that the conversations were some of the most useful, real, and powerful conversations the leaders have ever had at work.
